Does a unit in a pillbox that is hit by WP FFE have to take the NMC everytime a different Fire Phase comes along or does it just take it once unless it is making itself more vulnerable in the hex?

WP causes a NMC to units only when it is *placed* in their location, as per A24.31.

Yeah, but remember that a FFE is being "Placed" in every Prep Fire and Def Fire Phase. So I think that they would take the MC in each Prep and Def Fire phase.
