Balding is just your skull's way of making room for expanding brain cells. 🤔
Brain cells can get fat too? I mean, they are mostly fat to begin with but it's a little horrifying to think of them as gaining weight. Might help to explain migraines. -- jim

Yes a little known bit of scientific information. Initial studies suggest consumption of large amounts of cheap alcohol reduce those fat brain cells either by dissolving the fat or killing them. Captain Bacchus and I volunteered for the study assuming the alcohol was provided but no such luck.

Interesting speculation about the migraines.

I thought that playing ASL was supposed to exercise those brain cells.

One of Cpl Uhl's phrases is "I'd rather be lucky than good". He usually says it after I've called him a lucky bastard :)

I was playing the Chicago tourny and after I won a game was called lucky.

So - would you rather be lucky or good?

Napoleon and Eisenhower's thoughts on the subject:

"When Napoleon Bonaparte was criticised for winning battles simply because of luck, he famously retorted: “I'd rather have lucky generals than good ones.” More than a hundred years later, Eisenhower reaffirmed this point by saying: “I'd rather have a lucky general than a smart general. They win battles.”
Luck comes from seizing opportunities and your 6 ‘P’s.

Also dumb generals are preferred over unlucky ones, a corollary of the rule.

So, to sum, lucky>smart>dumb>unlucky

Considering that Eisenhower had to keep George Patton, Bernard Montgomery AND Winston Churchill all on the same page,
he is considered the right person to be Supreme Commander at the time.
