f MMP put them up on pre-order, how many people would be interested in purchasing a whole new set of, say, 4 to 8 Deluxe boards?

"Hell Yes" would be my answer...

Hi-

Yes, I too would be interested in new delux boards. Will they be mounted?

Mounted Yes, unmounted, well if they are unmounted, I might as well make them myself.

All a deluxe board is, is a board (not even a full length image in comparison to the standard ones too), that has larger hexes.

No manner of new "art" is going to be that thrilling. Any one of us here can scan a board, and then piece together a board cutting apart the image of the scan, to re assemble a new image, if all the plan is, is to end up with a new image that just happens to be on a large format map.

Mounted would at least be interesting. Not sure what terrain would be worthy of the effort though.

I didn't regret buying the first two sets. Didn't think I was being milked for cash. They ARE fun to play on. I have often thought of just colour copying my standard boards, to scale up to match the deluxe size myself. It's not like that is an original idea though.

Build it, mark it "ASL", and they will come. Hell, I'll buy anything (except J-2 for $200 on ebay).

Still I would like to see more of these boards out there.

As long as they aren't full of hedgrows I'll buy them as well as a set of unmounted e-h boards if they were to become available.

Bring them on!

Mounted, unmounted, ASLSK stype, whatever, I live the boards.

Only thing is I agree, not boards covered with hedges, we have 'em.

Though I think Chas is dreaming:>)

Peace

Before you guys get your hopes up I tried to get MMP to publish a 4 board, 10 scenario DASL pack for several years. There was initially a little interest from Curt but they decided DASL was finito.
Of course, the same thing happened with the Action Packs and we see what has happened there, so who knows. Maybe it is that they just dont like my stuff. Anyway, from my end most of those scenarios have already been redesigned on goe boards or published already.

We have received very positive comments for keeping DASL going in the RBFs, but not sure how much we are actually going to keep doing.

I would buy them, but only because I buy everything ASL, pretty much. I would RATHER, however, that the energy be put into creating regular geomorphic boards. If I bought new Deluxe Boards I would have to take them to Kinko's and color copy them with 50% reduction, because that is the only way I play on Deluxe Boards.

DASL is A-OK by me, I'll buy any product with DASL boards, mounted/unmounted/SK-style doesn't matter!

Does anybody have a complete listing of all DASL scenarios? (typing "DASL" for type in CoW search seems like it might be incomplete...)

Or a spare copy of Hell On Wheels they'd be willing to part with? :hmmm:

Gentlemen

IMO DASL is underrated. I would love it if MMP or HOB made more DASL maps and scenarios. Variety is the spice of ASL.

"It's not dead yet, Jim"

I've said it over and over in post after post that a Pacific Deluxe Module with four new boards would sell like crazy, and it's what the hobby needs.

I would like them, if they are mounted and of generally interesting terrain.

Of key interest is what are type of terrain is covered.

Maybe not 8 boards all at once, but more like 2 or 4 at a time.

I think Glennbo may be on to something. Mostly Jungle...with a path...and shrubberies on both sides to give it a two-level effect....:cheeky:

Jim,
This is the "Corporate Secret" that MMP has been trying to hide like the Coca-Cola company does for their recipe.

I agree, I would still like to see some more Deluxe ASL boards.
