Deuce, theres been no responce from my opponent, Dita, for almost 2 weeks now. We only had 2 turns left, and i had undeniably won both games. Cn I send you the files so that you can finish them off (since you know both passwords) and log the results?

Hi,

Got the last turns/communication from Vas on the 22nd. Just sent the latest turns over. Like vVs said, hes undeniably won both battles :) Just couldn`t get the plan together for these battles... Well fought games.

Sorry about the delay/lack of commincation.

Vas, what address did you send it too? I don't see it in any of my @combat-campaigns.com email account inboxes? That was the last game file needed to calculate the Round 3 score so as soon as I get it I can finale those scores.

EDIT: Are they the same ones you sent to me back in Oct . . . Nothing changed since that copy?

Vas, I went ahead and used the files you send earlier.

All scores/results have been updated. The Round 4 Scenario will be tweaked and sent out as I get confirmation you are still in this. You can post here or email me, either way is fine.

Also let me know if your passwords to be used for the Pbem files will remain the same. ;)

Just an FYI. Round 4 will see a German infantry assault against a French rearguard dug in on a hilltop.

OK everyone. All the DEPLOY files are about to out for Round 4. Each of you should get 2 file attachments with the email explaining what you need to do.

As a reminder, here are the Scenario details;

ROUND 4 INFORMATION AND RULES
TPW4 - Restoring the Border


  1. Round 4 will be a German Assault/French Defend.
  2. Forces on both sides are primarily infantry with some artillery thrown in. Neither side will have any armor.
  3. The battle will last for 20 Turns.
  4. START Date for Round 4 is December 15, 2007.
  5. END Date for Round 4 is January 31, 2008.
SCENARIO DETAILS/DEPLOYMENT
Here is the information concerning Round 4. It includes the OOB's, AND the instructions for the player to deploy his forces for the Mirrored Battle that he will be the French.

The German player will go 1st in all battles.

Each Player will need do this. If you have question please ask!!

*TPW4 - Restoring the Border*

German Assault - France Defend
October 1939
Visibility: 15
Length: 20

*French forces are deployed by the Player.*
Must be deployed any hex West of the White X's
1x Post Commande
1x Mortier de 60
1x Wagon
16x Gpe Inf
2x Mortiers de 81
2x Bloch MB 152

*German forces are deployed by the Umpire (same setup, each scenario).*
1x Kommandeur
26x Infanterie Grp
2x MG08/18 MMG(2)
2x 5cm LeGrW 36
1x 5cm LeGrW 36
x1 Kfz 14 (Fu)
x1 10.5cm Batterie

*French Player Instructions:*

1. Double Deuce will email players Scenario Files (.zip format).
2. Players will save the scenario (both the .cmt and .dat) to their Scenarios folder.
3. Start WinSPWW2 and go into the Editor.
4. Load your copy of the Scenario #631-636 "TPW4 - Restoring the Border".
5. Select "Deploy" for the French Player.
6. Manually deploy, all French units in any hex West of the White X's. You MAY entrench any units. Make sure to set facing, range, etc.
7. Deploy the following Build Points using the 'x' key (25 Wire). They cannot be placed on any Objective Hex!
8. Do not move any German forces or edit, modify any French forces! All you are doing is placing the French units where you want them to start.
9. Once you have deployed your forces, Save the Scenario.
10. Email the Scenario Files back to Double Deuce at tournaments@combat-campaigns.com.

Once I have the files returned for any set of Paired players I will create send out the actual Pbem Files.

We will use slots 003 and 004.

* OBJECTIVE:* Score as many points as you can! There are 21x50 point Objectives. At the end of each Round players will be awarded the equivalent of 1/20th of their End-Game scores (rounded up) in Battle Points on the ladder.
