I wouldn't purchase one for two reasons. #1 The games avaliable on it are not my style, i'm not into zelda ect. Maybe monkeyball but i wouldn't buy a wii just for that. #2 I'm personally put off as the graphics havn't progressed much unlike the 360 and Ps3 next-gen consoles. If they'd improved them more i think it would have been even more succesful.

Lol, im only interested in the 1 game and thats Zelda, I could see my self getting one mabee nxt xmas but thats probably reseved for PS3 lol.

I just feel that it doesnt have the power to do the things i want to see in the future with games.

I feel COD3 on the 360 gives me an experience so great and realistic wich seriously puts you into the life style of what it is exactly like in WW2. Now thats never hapend before imo and nearly all the things that actually made this experience what it is is due to the power of the thing and I cant see the Wii producing such things there for resulting in something I have already played on the PS2.

Obviously the controller is a big big part of the Wii and i can see that working for alot of games but some i cant see happening on the Wii due to the controller. I just feel the controller is more of a eye toy like acesory that has found it self being the main aspect of a console.

But meh millions will agree with me millions will dissagree, just my opinion rite?

Seriously... the interactivity could be amazing.
Nintendo could release a crotch strap so that the wii-mote attatches in a manner akin to a strap-on. Then, using the sensors, thrust back and forth! It would be almost liek the real thing and no venerial disease to boot!

Even though im a loyal sony fan and a regular pc gamer, im still getting a wii, because its something innovative and different, regardless of how good the graphics are.

^^^^ exactly. i love my pc and at the end of the day, i will always go back to my pc. but im getting my wii this friday comming and its gonna be so different. really hope i dont get bored of it n sell it coz i loved my 360, then just stoped playing it one day and then sold it. really wish i still had it.

alot of people have said the Wii won't appeal to hardcore gamers, he was mearly pointing out that there are quite a few hardcore gamers that are actually gettin gand looking forward to the Wii....

Well you wouldn't really be a hardcore gamer unless you got one really. Whether its the worse, the weakest, the kiddiest...a hardcore gamer still can't deny the fact it has some pretty damn good games. (not saying its any of those things...except kiddie).

Its definetly worth 250 dollars.
