Trevor are you proposing some kind of group hug, you big Troll ?
Sorry I was little taken with the game having played some truly excellent ASL that evening. I took out a Panther with an M8 Scout Car.

Not certain I agree with that. If we take a look at post counts there are not a lot of people with posts that high (hence the minor jab at myself about needing a life:laugh:). It takes hanging out here a long time to get posts that high and I think some people drift away after a while.

Take your current pace. You will have to be around for 5 years.

Not that you will even leave now that you have found this dysfunctional family:laugh::clown:

Peace

Roger
Hi Roger!

I see what you mean. Perhaps it isn't that easy. I doubt I'll see 1000 much less 5000  I can see the drift away factor, especially for those who might be outside the 'in-crowd'. As an 'outsider' I see what is at the same time one of this sites great charms, and curses is the relationships many of you have established over the years. It can be fun to read of course, for so long I guess before it might get a bit old if one isn't in on the joke so to speak. Many I suppose who do drift away didn't have that attraction or personal investment here to the other members here, so if one saw a few too many threads that left one inspired. Perhaps came across one too many posters with sticks up their asses, one too many keyboard warriors, or simply one too many who have spent too much time in front of a computer and forgot how to disagree or even talk with people with respect that naturally comes in FtF interaction, I suppose it would easy enough to walk away.

I like hanging here and talking in an anonymous forum about a completely insane hobby I'm too embarrassed to talk about with my normal friends. No way do I tell people I'm flying all the way to Cleveland of all places to play something like Squaddie. I just tell them I'm visiting family.

I hope you are joking. I have no embarrassment at all about my hobby. Spending money and time on an ASL trip is no different than spending money and time on a fishing trip, or a golfing trip.
