This thread is an incitement to bully an individual member of this forum. The moderators should remove it immediately and take some action against the original poster.

To the contrary, it is a light hearted response to Pitman's repeated threatening remark.

A typical response from a bully when called on their behaviour, "it was only a bit of fun and anyway, they did it to me first".

There is no comparison to be made. You single out an individual by name and invite others to criticise them. What I find particularly offensive is that you do this while concealing your own identity.

Not only are you a bully but you are a coward as well.

Well, let's compare for a second...
Despite his flaws, something we all have by the way, Mark's knowledge as well as his decades long commitment and contribution to ASL is unquestioned; He's earned the right to be "Pitman." You, on the other hand, have an equally well earned reputation as an a$$hole. A smart one? Yes. But one who rarely, if ever, contributes anything of value to the ASL community at large. Your post is nothing but a thinly veiled, unprovoked attack against another member of the forum.

I don't always agree with the man, and I've called him out on more than one occasion, but he has earned my respect for the things he's done in the world of ASL. That's something you'll never do.

Another example of the numerous personal attacks and bullying that this forum is used to and that degrade its quality.

I reported the thread (use the small /!\ icon down on the left) and asked for permanent banning of that nefarious troll.
I would suggest that many of us did the same.
The moderators do take into account reported posts.

I might add that at this point, this thread really serves no useful purpose and should be locked, nor does it conform to the game in any real manner whatsoever, so it might best be moved - before it becomes a "who-hates-who" thread.

Did you notice that when 'Banned' quit posting here for 3 or 4 weeks, a 'new' poster became fairly profuse with all the same sort of garbage; i.e. rules/formatting arguments, posts almost obviously aimed at tweaking the nerves of the forum, etc. If not profuse, it at least caught my eye as coming out of nowhere.

And within the last week, upon the return of 'Banned', the 'new' guy quit posting.....

No one else noticed? Could just be coincidence, I suppose.
