Well, I don't go much for having favorites as I don't like the whole Hollywood idol worship thing.

But...

Tricia Hilfer and Nicole Kidman....

I have a few actors I like enough to watch on film and who cares if the film sucks.

And I acknowledge, that even some of my favs have done films that actually DID suck.

But to list em as memory recalls, but not in order of preference.

Clint Eastwood
John Wayne
Richard Dean Anderson
Robin Williams
Sean Connnery

Yeah there are MANY other choices, but I actually have sections in my dvd collection just for those names.

Occasionally I will really like an actor, but then I don't normally make the same sort of fuss over a tv actor as I might a film actor (RDA is an acception).

Ever since 'Top Secret', I've always liked Val Kilmer.

Anyone who beat up Tom Cruise can't be all bad...

Directors are by far more important than actors but if I had to choose, I'd say Steve McQueen and Audrey Hepburn.

Actor--Peter O'Toole, With honorable mention going to Clint Eastwood, Shawn Connery, and James Stewart

Actress--hard to say--still thinking and will likely edit--but --Marilyn Monroe, and Mariel Hemingway comes to mind. Still thinking on that one, however.

Not a big movie follower, however--my one or two movies out a year don't add up to alot of time.

Oh so many great actors...

but if I had to name only one, it would be Al Pacino... so many great roles, so many great speeches and so many great outbursts :D

I have the "inches" speech from Any given sunday on my Ipod and by now I can recite it freehand ;)

Cheerio
