But who won the Superbowl. As a Frenchman I don't have the info.
Otherwise, as I didn't know the teams, I didn't support either.

LaPalice.

Patriots, because I think they had the best play. Not a fan, and I appreciated Panthers' effort, especially in the 4th where they had three excellent drives to tie the score.

I think they lost with honors.

And oh, LaPalice; final score: Panthers 29 - Patriots 32.

Patriots win by a field goal with 4 seconds remaining.

Over here "root" has a completely different meaning.
So what is it then? Not all of us are familiar with the lingo down under. :D

Imagine a soldier who has been out in the weeds for a month or six weeks. He returns to civilisation, with two priorities: cold beer, and the aforementioned "root".

The Patriots won the Super Bowl 32-29 :D It was a much better game than
everyone thought it would be - but I was not impressed w/the Carolina
defense. The Pats got 127 yards on the ground against the supposed
best defensive front four in fooball ;)

Reminds me of a conversation I'd heard years ago.

Person 1) Whatshername went hiking last weekend and fell over a root.

Person 2) Who's root did she fall over?

Oh, and I don't watch football. Me and the kids go scouting and geocaching instead.

Haha, what about their offense in the 1st quarter? What was it, -3 total yards in the first four drives? :D

Im a die hard Panthers fan from North Carolina and I cheer for them. The defense didn't do as well as they have and the offense struggled in the first half but for there first trip to the super bowl they made a good showing and it was an exciting game. The Panthers even set a Super Bowl record (I think it was 85 yard completion)
