Back in the bad old days of the ASLML, there was a thread about what scenarios were the great dust ups with AFVs and fur and flesh flying around with little/no car as to who's side of the boards were what.

What I recall those being:
- Directive Number Three (AP7)
- The Witch's Cauldron (ASLUG21)
- Point of no Return (42)

Have there been any other candidates that have come out in years since?

Clash Along The Psel? I'm not really familiar with the new crop of scenarios.

YASL9, Rack'Em Up is that kind of, all tank fight. Fought on a parcel of land they called "the pool table", the LOS is variable due to a swirling blizzard. It is set during Nordwind.

Khamsin is a great dust-up.

Too predictable for where the Brits will stand and fight. I find High Danger, Fort Macgregor, First Clash in Tunisia, all better DTO designs overall.

I would wager Flying Turrets quickly degenerates into a swirling melee of AFVs without care o which side each entered or set up on.

You see more than a bit of this in both Stoumant and La Gleize CGs form KGP.

Lone Canuk LSSAH #26 Steel And Fire, & LSSAH #27 Thrust To The North. Also, FrF9/BoF3 The Abbeville Bridgehead if played with abandon. Of course, like any scenario, it really depends upon the style of play of you and your opponent.

Playing that ATM and have never seen so many burning wrecks, drifting smoke and Malfed MA in all my ASL life!

It's like CC but with vehicles. Firing APCR, then AP, then IF, then MGs each fire phase with dust slowly getting thicker.

It's a pretty close run thing two with each of us about 2-3 kills away from a win, but it might be a little too risky trying to get close to those Tigers for the Russians.

I think FrF69 To Ashes features highly mobile forces with non-standard set-up and entry. 1940 British vs German. I highly recommend.

DftB #84 Pot of Stew, has like an intermingled set up and on Turn 1 Prep Fire phase fire "gun duels" of various sorts. I have played it. I think it meets your concept. (Opps I now see Mr. T has already noted this.)

DftB #65 also is a more general dervish dance in the mode you seek.

SP 101 Jura Juggernaut
SP 140 Red Valentines

And those are some damn fine titles, too.
