Where do YOU want to go next?

We know that Turbine has set the game-arc to following the Fellowship but once it breaks up (probably with the Mirkwood Expansion) where would you like to go?

South into Rohan (next expansion with Fangorn update) or,
North to Dale & the Lonely Mountain or,
West to the coasts (least likely choice).

Southward means helping Aragorn / Theoden & Helms Deep.
Northward could mean helping the dwarves and men fight back the invasions from the east (Rhun & Orcs)
Westward more men of Dunland.


South is a know product well recorded by Tolkien.
Going north would be the most interesting and unique since Tolkien lightly covered the general action taking place there: lots of opportunity for "new" things & locations.
West would hopefully open sea travel back to Ered Luin (new quests/pirates) and 2 new towns Tharbad & the first port city, Lond Daer.

Dale and Lake Town.

I think the areas that are highly developed by Tolkien are the better ones to keep back until graphics and/or gameplay can be more refined. A relatively unknown area is better for exploring now and has less letdowns if it didn't meet expectations. Then use the experience from that to do a better job on the fellowship path.
