When did GS stop allowing PDF’s in Resources?

Trying to update an Armory file, and the Resource area states a PDF File is not allowed? When did this change take place?

I can create a new resource with a PDF file but am unable to add a PDF file to a previous thread to update.

Works fine in main threads.
