I noticed looking at my recent playing and a majority have been the fine scenarios from the LFT crew. I have always appreciated the quality and variety of their products. It has led me to wonder: what new products are in the pipeline and potentially when we might see them?

Thanks for your kind words Houlie. I may be able to reply to the first question, but the second is much more difficult....

The next thing we will release is a boxed product, with no less than 3 Campaign Games in it, a couple of countersheets, displayed in France, May 1940. I have posted a few pictures on LFT Facebook page with some views of the map and counters.

We also have a scenario pack in the works, as well as LFT 15.

All this should be released within a year or so, fingers crossed.

All the best,

X

I had the chance to playtest on this map... and it is BEAUTIFUL! (Thanks Tom)
It has a bit of everything except the desert.
It has Urban
It has rural
it has farms
it has hills
it has forest
it has even a canal with (stationary) gunboats.
While mostly infantry, there is some vehicles in use as well as better OBA choices.

This HASL is designed by me and Xavier.
Map by Tom (do I need to write his family name ?)
Playtests by a lot of people, thanks to them.
Rats in the Manual, counters and articles by the LFT crew.
The scenarios are at 95 % done and (well) playtested.

We are currently fine tuning the CGs.

Sold. If its France '40 it's auto-buy for me.

Reminds me of a trip to Paris, Spring 2019. I had been looking for several French unit history and found a military bookstore a few miles from where we were staying. Ubered to the shop with my daughter. I asked the owner where the France '40 books were and he looked at me funny ("huh?") and said the market wasn't huge for these books ("wouldn't you rather have a book on the Tiger I?"). This proven true by the extent of the German unit books in his inventory. Within minutes I gleefully stacked a half-dozen beautiful hard cover armored and mech division histories on the counter. I never complained once about lugging those books home.

Viva La France!
