Anything that Rocks!

Sometimes listen to classic stuff by W.A.M. and J.S.B. Don't know if they qualify under the heading 'Early Tuetonic Techno' though!
No Cranberries ???

In another 15 minutes and for the two hours following, you can go here to listen to my preferred music for playing turns - instrumental surf music.

Yes, they provide good "Atmosphere" for gaming. LOL a lame JD joke I guess. I spin Power Corruption and Lies disc a LOT around here...as I like that early 80's New Order sound...when they still had the JD-flavor.

Fine show!

No no I listen them separatly :D

Dance music all of them, Shostakovich came from a Soviet series of the siege of Leningrad WWII. The story of the struggle and the music was really fascinating.
Shostakovich wrote this music during the siege, and the music group played them (maybe some people died during the concert because of starving).

As most of the record company is global company (see economical globalization thread), we have a lot of very similar music as the UK/USA.
There is some real Hungarian like:
-Ákos (male singer)
-Crystal (irish like music, but Hungarian origin)
-Neo tones (maybe you heard the Newton family, it is their children)
-Zanzibar
-Ghymes (folk like music)

Older ones but good:
-LGT
-Koncz Zsuzsa

What music do you listen playng turns?

Almost anything from Bach to the Stooges and the latest alternative rock bands: anyway if i'm winning i usually listen to Led Zeppelin or Neil Young while if i'm cut off behind enemy lines without supply and cornered i like Joy Division.

P.S being a long time drummer sometimes i listen also to my band cd.

"They come dancing across the water with their galleons and guns..."
Neil Young, "Cortez the Killer", Zuma.

there are only two type of languages which i think are not suitable for songs
these are dutch and german ( well i like ramstein sometimes but it is the exception that makes the rule )

sure go ahead
it could be so funny
last time i heard some dutch music it was in the clasroom when i was 18, a student was making a speech over a dutch rap groop, he even give us the possibility to listen to it and when he pushed on the tape recorder and that the first sentences come out all the other students startet to laugh
i kept the first sentence in my mind : mijn huis staat in het bos :D
the rest of the song was like that, it was awfull
but i'm sure there might be some good songs in dutch
so feel free to give me the name ;)
don't worry you will receive the turn tonight
