What kind of LOS is needed to hit a vehicle in bypass?

The rules state that a vehicle in bypass is "on the spine" and that the two outer ends of this spine are "covered arc focal points".

To shoot at the vehicle, does the a firer have to

A- See both "covered arc focal points"
B- See one of the two "covered arc focal points"

... to be able to hit the vehicle?

You must see one. There is actually only one CAFP, and that is the vertex in the direction the AFV is facing, i.e. the vertex that the front of the AFV counter is pointing at. This is explained in D2.32.
