You have not heard whining until you have played dave deresinki lol.
Wait. You are whining about a fellow-player's whining? That's second-level whining, meta-whining if you will. Pretty soon it will be whining all the way down with no ASL at all.

As long as the intensity or volume of each chained whine is less than the previous whine then the total of all whines will be finite.

Say that whine(n+1) = x*whine:thumbsdown: where 0<=x<1 then the total whine is

Total(whines) = whine(0)/(1-x) where whine(0) is the starting whine.

So for example if each whine is only 80% of the previous one then the total is

whine(0)/(1-0.8) = whine(0)/0.2 = 5 * whine(0).

If the whines increase then the universe will filled by whines causing it to collapse into a singularity.

The raises the philosophical/mathematical question; in the decreasing whine sequence, at which point of the sequence  does the whine (whine(0) * x^n) be classified as a whimper?

The man just added that he toasted an enemy AFV with an SMC firing a PF !!!

I feel for his opponent!

Again...the thread was about what you dread, not bad luck.

Even if I don't gack it, I still had dread for that first roll of my 88.

Certainly, if the number of whines is finite, otherwise I'm not convinced. What if the nth whine has intensity 1/n and there are an (countably) infinite number of whines? If there is a continuum of whines, with respect to what measure do we integrate them?

Being from Wisconsin, I always go with a bit of whine with my cheese, especially as a snack during ASL play.
