As long as the intensity or volume of each chained whine is less than the previous whine then the total of all whines will be finite.
Say that whine(n+1) = x*whine
where 0<=x<1 then the total whine is
Total(whines) = whine(0)/(1-x) where whine(0) is the starting whine.
So for example if each whine is only 80% of the previous one then the total is
whine(0)/(1-0.8) = whine(0)/0.2 = 5 * whine(0).
If the whines increase then the universe will filled by whines causing it to collapse into a singularity.
The raises the philosophical/mathematical question; in the decreasing whine sequence, at which point of the sequence
does the whine (whine(0) * x^n) be classified as a whimper?
