Hi-

Just got done playing Arkham Horror and I am impressed. The components are top notch and is actually alot of fun to play.

So what have you played that is non-ASL?

Scott
AH is a great game.

Not much besides ASL lately. Though my FtF buddy and I are taking an ASL break and are going to dig into Great Campaigns of the American Civil War.

Peace

Roger

DeathSpank or Amnesia count?

Had a chance at AH's Advanced Civilization, but it didn't work out. Might get in some Napoleonic block game soon tho.

AH The Guns Of August, CP will not be going thru belgium. But instead will hold on the west and knock Russia out first. At least that is the plan...... for now.

Just received the new 10-map monster La Bataille de Leipzig from Pratzen Editions, and will set that up after going through the rules. For a change of pace a few mates and I started a game of Starcraft last week, we'll finish it on Thursday evening I'd wager. Also have La Bataille de Lutzen (CoA) set up and wading through those rules....

I really, really wanted to like it. The components are beautiful....but my opponent and I were left frustrated by the rules...then there was a clarification to one of the rules that left us with the impression that the game had never been playtested properly:-(

how did you like A Most Dangerous Time?

Just played King Phillips War over the weekend. It was a fun, well tought out game. Being from the area of New England where most of it was fought out also added to it's allure. Lost by one point as the colonists. Beat up hard on the indian main body, while they racked up points burning settlements. The damn New Yorkers started a border conflict with Connecticut though and pushed him up 25-24 on the last turn. A very enjoyable game. Also played Down in Flames which is a WW2 card game and won as the Italians in a Malta scenario. That system is reliable fun and I have played it a bit, although not in a while.

I enjoy playing Go. There are numerous places online that you can play. Excellent stategy game and the handicap system can make a good game for people of different skill levels.

You should bring a board and stones to ASLOK. An incredibly subtle game of strategy.
