Hi-

Just got done playing Arkham Horror and I am impressed. The components are top notch and is actually alot of fun to play.

So what have you played recently?

Picked up a copy of the Warhammer 40K RPG, "Dark Heresy", and thinking about some campaign ideas. It's a great read.

Nuclear War - fast, stupid, funny, brainless gaming.
And that pirate card game thing with the little model ships which you assemble. Lot of fun as well.

Command and Colors, Expansion 2 "Romans vs Barbarians".
I played the batte of Vercellae (Romans vs Germanic tribes) and the barbarian hordes were slashed down by the better led Romans.
Scenario start positions (Romans in red, Barbarians in green):

Because of the lack of traditional wargamers in Asheville, NC, where I now spend two nights a week, I have fallen into the dreaded hands of the miniaturists there. Have played WWII skirmish style games "Poor Bloody Infantry", "Panzer" and "Disposable Heros". Should never have attended "Cold Wars" and "Historicon" last summer while in Harrisburg.

Have you ever played Flames of War? It's a 15mm WW2 game that has a scale very similar to ASL.vehicles are 1:1 and infantry are grouped on stands kinda like half squads.

It's a pretty fun and not to complex game. Haven't played it in over a year though.:upset:

Victory In The Pacific for the first time in 25 years.

Had some pizza and beer and it felt just like the old days.
