SSR#6
While Cloaked, a Foot Bridge is treated as a 5PP SW. While not Cloaked, a Foot Bridge (B6.44) can be carried overland by infantry, using the Manhandling System (C10.3), during its MPh (only). A Foot Bridge has a Manhandling Number of 10 (C2.27) with a -1 ORM Man-handling Bonus for each Sapper HS assisting in the Manhandling of the Foot Bridge. Unlike Gun Manhandling, these infantry units are not Tl and may still carry up to their normal IPC. A Good Order Infantry may place a Foot Bridge, provided they expend their entire MF allotment to do so, into a canal hex during the MPh from an ADJACENT location, using Hazardous Movement (A4.62) with the placing unit(s) becoming Tl (A4.8) while doing so.

Question
When the bridge is placed in the water and the unit is marked TI. At which point will that section of bridge becomes usable by other units?
In other words. Can other units enter that section of bridge in the MPh/APh of that turn or must they wait till their next MPh?

Reply
The unit placing the bridge takes its entire MPh; hence becoming TI. Once placed, the footbridge is useable starting in the APh.
