Situation:

Please consider the follwing hex.

7952

A German PF is located in P1 claiming Wall Advantage. It has successfully made a PF Check and wants to fire it at would-be intruders.
The German unit wants to avoid the Backblast of the PF.

Question:

Does the PF-firing unit have to incur the +2 DRM of Case C3 to avoid the Backblast or is it not threatened by Backblast in any case for claiming WA TEM?

Wall Advantage does not create a new "sublocation" within the hex. It changes the TEM depending on whether the LOS crosses the hexside TEM or not. LOS is still traced to the hex center (with all normal exceptions), the Location is still concealment terrain, etc.

The other choice is using opportunity fire to avoid the backblast if you think you will still be around come the Advancing Fire Phase.
