Hello:

I believe this was turned in to MMP in 2012. Anyone have an update?

Thanks,

Gerry

Hi Gerry,

I have not heard any update. I was hoping to see this in the next Journal. We'll see.

Regards,

Tom

Two years is a long time for them to not give an update.

Does anyone know if they are even working on it, as in playtesting etc. I know MMP has hired full-time staff. If they are not going to do something with it why not tell the submitters?

I'm pretty sure Chas is still the only "full-time staff" at MMP.

Gerry,

Both SASL projects were fully playtested and 'ready to print'. I surmise that they are slated for one of the upcoming journals. That said, Chas has a lot on his plate and a lot that has to fit in the journals. They will see the light of day at some point, it's just a matter of when.

They will be worth the wait. I had loads of fun playtesting- see my VotG1 SASL AAR: http://forums.gamesquad.com/showthread.php?104218-SASL-VotG-CG1-Playtest

Well, I guess nobody would complain if each Journal would have some 10 extra pages to make the stuff fit...

VotG SASL-
Rules are pp. 1-4
4x missions (4 pp)
2x RE charts (Friendly, Enemy)
Solitaire tables (2 pp)

So 6 pages printed on each side, not too bad. Kind of like a large article.

I know I'm reaching here, but wouldn't it be nice to throw in a couple of sheets of S? counters with Journal 11 to go along with the VOTG SASL rules? I'm currently trying out a CG IV and according to VASL I need 260 black S? and 482 reserve S?

For the table top I only layout the 6-8 hexes from the frontline locations, but even so I'm still using up most of my non-RU concealment counters.

I'm so pissed that I missed that Black Friday sale!

Such a waste of good paper.

Maybe MMP will have it available in pdf format for the "Green" of ASL future?

No wai ....

Those Solitaire Tables have GOT to be at least 4 Portage Points ...
Made of a "light-weight" fabric designed for folks that carry LARGE loads (ASL Gear) from the house to the trunk and from the trunk to the hotel game room for Tournaments........
