Some questions related to VBM freeze with Halftracks (aamg only armament):

1) Will a BU halftrack with no passengers cause ? loss of a ground lvl unit in a building at the end of the movement phase if it is in motion or if it is stopped in bypass?

2) In the situation above there is presumably no available TPBF fire possibility with small arms, so is the freeze really in effect? Or is the possibility of cc rxn. fire enough to cause the freeze?

3) A halftrack is stunned from outside the hex it is VBM freezing. Will a ? unit in the bypassed hex still lose ? at the end of the MPh?

Thanks in advance!

Yes to both, A12.42 (assuming that it is an armed halftrack).

Yes, there is TPBF, A7.211. The crew of the armed halftrack is vulnerable even if there are no passangers. The restriction is actually based on A7.212 and the first sentence covers most situations--almost any Known enemy unit will prevent you from firing out of the location. Additionally, any time you have a TPBF situation, you can only attack those units. TPBF can happen even if not in the sam location, A7.211.

Yes, the vehicle, although Stunned is not Broken, A12.1 and A12.42.
