Hi, how exactly do you get VASL3 to work for peer-to-peer play?

Reason is, we have been playing a ABTF CG on VASL3 and tried converting it to VASL4 but w/ all the counters and all, and my 56k modem it takes just too long to synch (which was never a problem w/ VASL3). Also, when somebody else enters the room in VASL4 the long synch time freezes us ...

thanks for any help,

Martin

Type local:5050 in the field where the IP address for the vasl 3 server appears and save...yer ip address will be shown and you can send that to yer opponent, he will then have to enter that number with :5050 at the end in that same field.

Hope this helps

Don't forget to configure any personal firewalls or NAT routers to redirect inbound requests for these ports to the appropriate machine.
