Has anyone heard about when the new VASL4 server will be up and running?

I heard when chatting on the backup server that it was supposedly ready to go, and was going to be up this past Tuesday. Obviously this was incorrect.

Those of us running behind routers/firewalls are extremely interested.

The server upgrade I'm working on keeps getting postponed.... I think I completed most of the work two days ago, but I need to coordinate with they guys who own the server. :)

I hope to finish this week. Stay tuned...

Upgraded to VASSAL engine version 1.0.10

I just upgraded to VASSAL engine version 1.0.10 and now when I connect to the server I don't see anyone there.

Anyone else with this problem? Any one have version 1.0.9 install file handy that I could get from you?

VASSAL 1.1.10

At least 5 people I'v talked to are having problems with the new Vassal engine (1.1.10). Emails have been sent to Rodney. Its the same problem across the board - logs on fine, but no one is there.

If only VASL3 server was up again until VASL4 functions properly.

Ahhh, the good old days..........

I still dont use VASL4 and only looked at it once quite a while ago. I do miss the chat room talk but being able to connect PtP when I want, IMHO, beats any of the candy that VASL4 provides.

agree on the VASL3 thing--

Vasl4 was supposed to revert to PtP when its server choked--but it didn't this time--guess cause the "message" board is still up.

And noone on VASL4 "chats" like they used to on 3 for some reason...
