VASL Log File error

Gotten this "Unable to Write File Error" when trying to end a log file twice in two different games. I am using 6.6.1 and my opponent was using 6.6.0 (I think that was the same combo before too, but not sure).

First time I was able to get a logfile to write after re-running the log. This time, it didn't work.
Update 2 - closing VASL and re-opening got it to write a test log.

NoSuchFileException is a strange exception to throw when attempting to create a temp file, as the temp file is not supposed to exist yet. My guess is that this is a permissions problem with a misleading error message coming back from the system.

I recommend trying VASSAL 3.4.7 when it's released later today. The fix it contains for Bug 13546 switches VASSAL to using the system temp directory instead of its own, so that may let you avoid the problem you're seeing.

Got the same error tonight using VASSAL 3.4.7 and VASL 6.6.1

Is this problem still happening with VASSAL 3.5.8?
