That would be real nice. My new 4k monitor makes things VERY small. I have to zoom to 200% to see the boards. All the menus are very small as well, and the largest font size available in the control window is bearly readable. I suspect more and more people will be getting these more advanced monitors and will also start having issues.
edit: instead of doing the below, you can make the changes using the module editor instead:
Changing the zoom using the module editor

If you are feeling adventurous you can do this today. Find your vasl .vmod file (current version). MAKE A BACKUP COPY! Open the .vmod file using an archive program like zip or archive manager. If you are on a windows machine you may find it easier to rename the .vmod file to .zip. If you have "hide known extensions" turned on, you may find it easier to turn that off. If you don't know what these are and you can't figure out how to do these (google), you are not feeling adventurous.
Search inside the .zip file for a file named "buildfile". Extract that file only. It should be extracted to the same directory as the .vmod/.zip file.
Open buildfile with a text editor; notepad or similar will do. Search for the string "zoomLevels" (note the ess at the end). You should see a string like: zoomLevels="0.19753086419753085,0.2962962962962963,0.4444444444444444,0.6666666666666666,1.0,1.5"
The quoted text is a list of zoom levels that the zoomer displays. Change it to be the list you want, comma separated. DO NOT ADD CARRIAGE RETURNS TO THE FILE NOR ALLOW ANY PROGRAM TO CHANGE THE END-OF-LINE CHARACTERS UNLESS YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE DOING. Just make sure the list is comma-separated floating point numbers. I would not add spaces either, although that might be harmless. For a bonus, you can change the value of zoomStart, which is the integer offset of the value in the list that is the default at start. The offset is reversed, so "1" is the right-most value and N (where there are N elements in the list) is the left-most. If you made your list, "0.5,0.75,1.0,1.5,2.0" and used a zoomStart of 2, your at-start zoom level would be 1.5. Your zoomStart value has to be in the range 1..N of the list you made, so if you shortened the list, make sure the zoomStart is
< N.
Add buildfile back into the .vmod/.zip file. If you renamed your .vmod file to .zip, rename it back to .vmod. If you can't see the .zip extension, turn off "hide known extensions."
Start vasl normally. Your startup zoom and zoom list should reflect the changes you made.
You made a backup copy, didn't you? If not, download the .vmod from the web again to repair the damage if it fails.
