Hey Guys!

I'm currently running Vassal 3.2.14 and VASL 6.3.3 (yeah, I'm behind, I know). I've downloaded Vassal 3.2.17, but how do I get the VASL module to recognize it?

Cheers,

Mark

Hey Jack!

Tried that; doesn't recognize the new version of Vassal. Not sure if I have the new application program in the right folder.

What exactly does it say when you open the vasl module file? Screenshots would be even better to provide extra context.

You have to load VASL 6.3.3 into your new VASSAL 3.1.1.7. Not expect VASL 6.3.3 to recognize VASSAL. So basically the other way around.

Some people use parallel installations of VASSAL with various modules (like VASL within) because some old modules can only cope with older VASSAL versions.

Wasn't there a known issue with that version where it would show 3.2.14 in the VASSAL Version on VASSAL but if you actually opened it and then went the HELP>About VASSAL it would show 3.2.17 on the splash screen? I swear I remember that because I remember when I upgraded to .17 and I thought I did it wrong.

It's not an "issue," it is the version that the module was built with.
