The tones are not agressives, eyes are not tired by a too high contrast. Color are nice

change your Style-option (user cp-button at the top) to high contrast green and the forum will be again rendered in a familiar green and the helmet is there, too.

(and your eyes are no longer suffering from Don's colorfull experiments )
