With the release of 6.6.8 I have released an updated version of the DYO campaign extension. It is now at version 4.1 and available on the Vasl.info->Extensions website for download. It has the following major changes:
Removed the Steeples overlay which was moved to 6.6.8.vmod.
Added more extensive captured SW for the German/Russian/American/British nationalities covered by the extension. Note that these conceal as the owner's color and have the captured use lowering of ROF, breakdown and elimination numbers on the counters. This is an example of the captured German SW available to the Russian.
Added Entry Area overlays with Text Labels for use in marking them on the board edges.
Added a Skis/Bicycle overlay indicator as a prototype trial effort.
Modified multiple counters with svg images for crisper graphics (driven by the need for such on the captured SW counters).
This extension is focused on providing counters and overlays to support Campaign Game play with an emphasis on DYO type games. It is fully compatible with all scenarios although most of its contents will probably add very little to a small scenario. It comes with a complete User's Guide that can be accessed using the Help menu item in the VASL main map window. Note that rules references to items in Chapter I are present in the User Guide but that chapter has not been released as of this time. If someone has a website that can host a zip file of roughly 3Mb and is willing to freely host the Chapter I rules set please contact me.
