Some more updates from day 3 of Fanfest 2009.

The new planet graphics are looking spectacular. According to the keynote given yesterday, every planet in the EVE universe will be unique. These aren't a big texture, but rather procedurally generated 3D objects with sea levels, weather patterns, day/night cycles, etc. Here's a look at Gallente Prime running on SISI:

CCP has confirmed that the Dominion expansion will launch on 1 December 2009.

Tech 3 frigates have been confirmed for release at some point after Dominion. The exact time is TBA.
