Hello!
Weather is Mud, with a Mild Breeze from the Southeast at start.
Spring, or what passes for such in Minnesota, is just around the corner. Of course, that can mean anything from balmy conditions to subzero temperatures and freezing rain. No matter which we end up with, the Twin Cities ASL March get-together will be definitely happening this coming Saturday, March 14.
March 14? That's pi day! Surely there are some pi-themed scenarios out there, right?
As always, new players are definitely welcome! If this is your first time with us, please let us know so we can pack a few simpler scenarios to ease the learning curve a bit. If you'd like to play Starter Kit games, please make sure to bring them-- I only own SK3.
There's no funny business involving locations this month. We'll be at Fantasy Flight Games as usual.
Details:
Day: 3/14/20
Time: 10:00am -- whenever we're done.
Location: Fantasy Flight Games, 1975 County Road B2 W, Roseville, MN 55113
What sort of scenarios might I come up with for pi day? There weren't many options. The only theme I could work with was scenario length, so each of the scenarios on the list this month is 3.1 hours long (because the ASL scenario archive doesn't round to hundredths of an hour).
It turns out that only one scenario takes place on 3/14:
