Okay, Perry, help me out a little here with my new Russians.

I have NKVD MMC (A25.25) with the red hammer and sickle icon:
6-2-8/9 broken morale; 3-2-8/8 broken morale.

And I have Assault Engineers (A25.01) with the DC symbol:
6-2-8/9 broken morale; 3-2-8/7 broken morale.

Before I take my permanent marker to them, is it only the Assault Engineer squads that have the wrong broken morale?

BTW, this is the best kind of errata to have: 9s to 8s. (8s to 9s is a bear.)

Hi all,
I deleted the posts that are not directly linked to the errata of TotR.
This thread has been stickered so that people can readily find all the errata pertaining to that product: it is better that they are not concealed in a heap of small talk and peripherical comments.
Now, if someone found my moderation too harsh, I can undelete those posts.

Scenario 295 Death Box has 4 Hungarian L3 tanks in it. The two counter sheets included in the box only include 3 Hungarian L3s. ????

Suggest: Use Axis Minor from AoO.

I guess I overlooked those in my storage box, went immediately to the new counter sheets. When I saw the I.D. letters of the 3 on the counter sheet of A, B, and C, I just assumed they were the first release.

They are the first Hungarian release, just like the Axis Minor T-34’s and Panthers.

AoO have three Hungarian L3/35(I) with ID letters D-F. The ones in TotR complement these....for the purpose of the scenario only one "extra" was really needed in TotR, but IIRC, the decision was to include three to "fill up" the A-F ID letters....or something like that....

Vast Hellish Ruin

SSR 2 rubble checks references building 19aE7 as being immune to rubble checks.

However there is no building in 19aE7. Am I missing something?

ASL scenario 292 has overlay X38, but only specifies 18aJ5 as hex to place the overlay.

While it is a one hex overlay, a second hex (ie J4 or J5) is required to orient the wall facing.

Thanks,
Rich

Hmmm, is that correct? If there is no other verbiage in the SSR, then I was of the understanding that the "1" designation on the overlay was pointed along the "1" hexside direction, which is the design intent here for placement purposes.

Yes, thus I could figure out the second hex required by VASL for x38.

VASL probably should not require the second hex, no big deal.

It would be the hexside one off the "1" sniper hexside should the sniper be pointed North.

Thanks,
Rich

A2.73:
"For single-hex overlays, the top of the alpha-numeric ID should be oriented with the grid coordinate of the hex."

Rich,

So, I don't do VASL (yet), so there are a number of analog vs VASL differences/issues/concerns/challenges that I am becoming more sensitive to. To try and help me avoid/mitigate some of these differences, I am trying to build a better working relationship with Tom Repetti MUCH earlier in the design process. Hopefully, this will allow for a much easier transition from analog to digital.

Thanks!

Bill
