Hi.
I tried to change my email (gmail) for a new gmail account but never received the confirmation link (checked the spam).
So I tried for an outlook email and it's ok, I received the link (in the spam).
Someone else had the same issue ?

Yes grosbil, I had the same issue. You cannot (apparently) use a gmail account to register here at GameSquad.com. The worst part is, the mods are completely unaware of this, and when I tried to contact them to ask them why - after trying for over two weeks - I could not get a confirmation email, no one ever responded to me.

Thanks to the details you posted above, I was able to use a live.com email address to get registered here.

Clearly, a number of technical issues need to be fixed here.

The mods probably can't help you. Only @RandyT0001 can help you. And to do that, he probably needs to work with his hosting provider to sort it out.

I had a problem with my domain email recently too. There was a change to stop spam and it involves making some entries in DNS. I don't know if this is the problem here. It isn't my domain so I have no clue. I suggest you start with Randy. -- jim

Thanks very much Jim.

Maybe for the short term, someone could post a banner on the website (or a note on the registration page) stating the gmail-based account registrations are currently broken, and that other domains (such as outlook.com or live.com) should be used.

Anyway, hello everyone and really glad to finally be able to join you all! :)

Again, the only one who can do that is @RandyT0001. Randy is the owner and has the overall power to do these sorts of things. The mods just moderate posts, delete spam, and make sure the place runs civilly. -- jim

Grosbil contacted me through the French forum.
Otherwise, moderators don't receive messages through the contact function here.

I personally use a gmail adress, but I signed in years ago.

Salut Robin ;)
Yes, old gmail are ok.
I had one with this account but it has been hacked so I had to change for a new one.
The issue is if you try to change for an other gmail or create a new account with a gmail it won't work.
