Unfortunately we lost in the state championship. Didn't play our best, and too many things went against us. Even so, we got knocked out in a 7-5 game where we had our chances.

Even with the loss we remain the #1 ranked 9AA team in GA. The season officially ends 31 July and we are don't playing at least for this month, possibly until next season. Finished with an 18-3 record in sanctioned events against 9AA teams, losing two in extra innings plus the 7-5 loss previously mentioned. We will likely finish the season ranked #1.

Counting all tournaments, even playing against 10MAJ and 10AAA teams, we compiled something like a 29-20-1 record. Played in a total of 7 championship games (winning 4), and also then played in state championship.

Overall a great season. Thanks again to those who helped support the team and get it going with the donations and raffle long ago.

We did finish 2013 ranked #1, and will become a 10AAA team in 2014.


We decided to play in one tournament this past weekend before we took time off for football and basketball. Technically this started the 2014 season.

Domination may be an understatement. We went 4-0 defeating our opponents by a combined score of 47-7. I would say our batting led the way with a .505 average; however, our pitching led the way. Our pitchers compiled the following in 18 innings: 7 hits allowed, 3 earned runs allowed, 25Ks, 3BBs. Hopefully we pick up next year right where we left off.
