That the first four notes of Beethoven's fifth da da da dah is V in morse code. Which is why us Brits broadcast it.

Then there was the German female singer with a backing group of SS Guards in drag - and no that was not in a Mel Brooks film but actually occured during WWII.

All this was contained in "Music for Tyrants":


Worth a watch if you have the time.
