If I recall the story, he actually took out four bad guys with one shot. Seems the head bad guy liked to execute his captives with a flamethrower....enjoyed watching them cook and scream. The sniper's shot hit the fuel tank strapped on the bad guy's back and when the fuel ignited it soaked all four of the baddies in napalm...."Man I love the smell of napalm in the morning"....I am not certain but I believe the captive got away.
