The Olive Grove depictions I remember featured the standard green Orchard dots - but instead of Kelly green they substituted lime green dots with brown centers (because if you're going to have Olives you're going have pits!). I've found I can give myself a good visual clue by putting a green "perimeter" marker in the hex.

As long I'm seeing things, I seem to remember that some wag in some board layout somewhere depicted cactus patches as, well, cactus (or at least images thereof), but that might be overdoing it. considering how rarely it comes up, what you've got works just fine for me.

Speaking of images, have you seen how Primasole Bridge depicts Vinyards? Worth a thought.

Hi there,
I'm desperately looking for the vasl map for the coastal fortress campaign Aprilia-The fortress. I found the scenarioes, but the vasl-map seems to be gone...

Somebody out there who could pass the vasl map over?
Thanx & Cheers

I don't think I've said it yet, but thank you guys for all you hard work is making these maps available to us. VASL restored my ability to play SL and move up to ASL and I just want to say how much I appreciate it. Happy Thanksgiving!

Don't know if this has been mentioned before, but there is a (minor) error on Board 12 (v5.1): The white square stairwells in hexes Q4 & R2 are displaced from the centre of the hexes (and the regular white centre dot is thus visible).

Doesn't make the board unusable in any way, but it looks darn weird!

Hmm. "Darn Weird" does not qualify as a bug. Request denied ;-)

Indeed, it is probably conducive to more consistent LOS checks with the smaller center dot available and not needing to eyeball the center of the relatively large stairwell box.

OK, I've added board 6ab to the Map Bazaar, and updated all of the boards with the Scenario Special Overlays required for Action Pack 8. This entailed updating these boards:
board 02 to v5.4
board 4a to v5.4
board 40 to v5.2
board 60 to v5.1
board 5a/b to v5.2
board 1a to v2.1

You can get the whole shebang (new boards 6ab, plus the updated boards above) here: http://home.comcast.net/~tomrepetti/boards/AP8boardupdates.zip

Check it out. I think there's some pretty cool terrain changes in there.
