I think it's own today. At least I heard the music from downstairs and some of the script as I was trying to cat nap.

Cheers!

You people are forgetting about the movie "Patton." Its the only movie that I know of that covers the whole European Theater. Going from the battles in North Africa all the way until the end of the war.

There is another movie which covers the whole theatre also: The Big Red One.

Cage needs to just stay away from the Frontlines. He didn't fit the role of a US Marine. Hey Nick stay with your own type of filming , War films aren't it!!!!
 :nonono: :nonono:
Notice how they worked overtime to tie-in WT with Battle Cry - same camo uniforms, Indian commo troops, Marines singing the same theme song, a shot of Cage in front of an LVT of BC vintage, though he wasn't shown hitting the beach, Saipan setting. As if WT was the grandson of BC.

There's an old "B" grade backlot movie of the "Lost Patrol" variety - "Screaming Eagles". Has a good "sense of period" for the Overlord operation, but otherwise routine.

I agree, but I can't stand most of the acting on those early WWII movies.

 Windtalkers was a little too high drama, but the debt owed to the Americans was an important part of the war.
I found the stories from the actual Indians who took part in this were interesting.

Combat!

I would rather sit through all the episodes of Combat! I'll take Vic Morrow over Nicholas Gage anytime!
