I found this interesting ad in the classifieds section of Chess Life:
I think $600 is a bit much (I would go as high as $200), though. And I don't care for his flowery style - I would much rather have a militaristic theme.
When I read that, I thought it was a very clever idea! I think any serious chess player has been in a desperate fight where victory is truly something to celebrate. For example, I once played against an opponent who was far better than me - with the sole exception of a draw, he beat me in every game over a period of years. When I finally beat him, twice in a row no less, it was a great day! :bounce: I printed out the board positions and now have them hanging on my wall! :laugh:"SAVE IT FOR POSTERITY
