It's good to have goals.

I was going through the various scenario packs I've accumulated since mid 2019 and came up with an idea for scenarios to play over the next year (or two). Some are small, some are definite monsters, certainly some will not be balanced and some have been updated.

But there are 48 of them and I would like to try them in chronological order.

Perhaps beginning after the Easter weekend or mid-April?

OMOOT What is the " U " designation mean? I remember some of these as Rogue Scenarios but others from modules. Thanks!

Some great scenarios but those original SL Rogue boards were hideous!! Fish had a crapload of them. Compensation from Mac and Rex for playtesting perhaps? Maybe AH just wanted to get rid of them. Fish bought everything, usually in multiples, but I know he didn't buy all those boards!

Maybe garish is a better description than hideous. I'll talk it over with Colonel Cuervo.

Sadly enough I'm sure we looked forward to their release. There wasn't really that much around then. It's not like we're talking board 77 here after all.

The later dates are in the "Rivers to the Reich" sceanrio pack. So we have:

GI Dozen (13 US scenarios)
Turning of the Tide (early war)
Rivers to the Reich (late war)

Some seriously good stuff there. Played close to all of them but there's a few I'm uncertain of. Played several of them a lot. Good times,

Aussie Pitman was threatening to update the SL-GI scenarios produced by 3W (World Wide Wargamers) up to ASL standard. Their scenario packs were of a more dubious quality than the official AH stuff.

I still have my mounted rogue boards, I didn't mind them. The red terrain was jarring on Board 11, but the color differences were so dramatic from one board to the next anyway, it really didn't matter. Board 9 had those ugly crag splotches. Board 10 I liked a lot.

I was under the impression that those scenarios had been converted to ASL, several by Jim Stahler. A difference between convert and update?

Good idea, Jim. I could play the 'other side' in different matches as the series progress. IE: I'll be the Germans in U14 against the above player (ASL1) so I could be the Poles versus you.

This (twin) series, the Ersatz League and the Illuminating Rounds tourney should keep me booked for next 15 - 18 months.
