Gentlemen

I was wondering what is what would be considered the rarest ASL item(s) ever produced?

I Guess the only "condition" is that the item would have to have been for sale or at least offered as a prize and would have to actually be useable in a game.

ASL posters or T shirts, etc really don't count IMO.

Was there ever 3 copies of a special Amazonian head waters ASL Tourney pack produced in 1987
or something like that?

Thanks
Joe

As far as I know the Uber rare of Uber rare was a set of blue bordered black SS counters produced for a tourney gift , I had them briefly then moved them on to a European player/ collector

Interesting, would love to see a pic..

Thanks
Joe

I'm part collector, part pack rat. I had the original BRT (1996, HOB) and God Save the King (1994, HOB), but the production quality was...poor (that's being kind). I knew I would never play them but due to career business missed out on the MMP versions of BRT and ABTF. So I sold the HOB versions for (clears throat) exorbitant prices to a collector, then bought the MMP modules (which weren't cheap either).

I kind of regret doing it, but I'm not THAT serious of a collector and it helped me get things more desirable (and playable) and it helped a collector with their collection.

I was a collector & pack rat. I got into a bidding war over some TOT stuff a ways back and paid a crazy price for the items. After "winning" the war, I instantly regretted even contemplating spending that kind of money on trivial stuff. I had to pay the money because I said I would but at that moment it completely cured me of being a completionist. I am now selling another 25% of my collection. This is my third, and final such auction. I am down to official stuff only. I sold the stuff because I wasn't using them and someone else would not because I didn't like the stuff.
I will still buy Mannerhiem Cross & Peleliu but after that I think that I will wrap up my purchases from TPP.

Actiondebbie and I used to collect Frisbees and other flying discs, we had well over a thousand. I got into a bidding war for a mini wbitd on Ebay and paid way more than it was worth. Sometimes you just get too caught up in collecting. Sold off the bulk of the collection and did very well so it all worked out.

Glad to see you are just selling off some inventory and not leaving the hobby.🤗

Actiondebbie now collects Fiesta Ware, coconut head men and plants. Frisbees were much cheaper.

I collect cats. Frisbees still cheaper. 🤣
