I tuned in about half way, and kept the game on since Texas was ahead. Baseball is only interesting during the playoffs. Quite a pitching duel, I must say. And then the Yankees just collapsed in the top of the ninth. I didn't think that was possible, but it was a joy to watch unfold, nonetheless.

Yanks batting this year has just been atrocious. I can't imagine how they finished with the 2nd best record in baseball. :hmmm: They could still win it if they put together some late game 1 hitting but I just don't see it happening. :nada:

Yeah, the Giants were the same way all year.
They have an excellent pitching squad, but their bats were
just weak sauce until September.
A Rangers/Phillies WS?

55-35 Psycho (11-3) & John (11-3)
53-37 Sydney (10-4)
52-38 Michelle (7-7)
51-39 Chad (9-5)

And all is right again in the universe! :coolban:
All 3 games I missed were by a FG. :(
I was 6 picks different from Michelle and all she got was one game. Almost every single game was decided by a FG or in the last few minutes (exc: JAX). :nada:
As always ...the game came down to the last dice roll. :smoke:

Fine by me. My wife grew up outside Phillie, so I'd cheer for them (& Halladay).

Anybody but the Yanks.

Good grief, I'm posting about baseball!

That Jags game last night could've used more playtesting. Woof woof! ;)
Although who could foresee both QBs boxcarring their TH rolls early & then 6'ing the repair rolls? Some dice you just can't playtest for... :p

Congratulations to the Texas Rangers for beating the Yank-mees and
going to their first World Series!

I wonder if Dave is ... for that reason. Dave's a Marlin's fan, but he's also a baseball fan and we all know how they are about 'firsts'.

Where is 'Four Wind's Bar', and why haven't we been?
