Hi Xavier,
Just a small question. Any SASL Projects in the works?
I take the liberty to answer for Xavier considering his remoteness: plenty of cool stuff in development, but no SASL project in the near future.

How about a short Best of LFT scenario list?
Nothing official, but here are my personal favourites (disclaimer: St Nazaire amphibious night assault might not be for everyone :D) :

  • FT35 : Last Push to Mozhaisk (this one went official)
  • FT80 : One Spanish Hero
  • FT127 : In the Mouth of Madness
  • FT145 : Bears of Kinmen
  • FT148 : La Horgne
  • FT154 : First Defeat
  • FT159 : Tangled at Tsangkou
  • FT165 : Shopino Struggle
  • FT167 : Wasp Sting
  • FT169 : Daring Parafroggers
  • FT173 : A Misstep in Lorraine
  • FT188 : NKVD Nut
  • KGS4 : From Matilda with Love
  • StN4 : Get the Lights!

  • FT35 : Last Push to Mozhaisk (this one went official) [J115 in J8, IIRC)
  • FT80 : One Spanish Hero (FT86 Black Tercio is another fun one from LFT10's Division Azul special issue)
  • FT127 : In the Mouth of Madness (Robert Hammond's three-way Russian Civil War madness)
  • FT145 : Bears of Kinmen
  • FT148 : La Horgne
  • FT154 : First Defeat
  • FT159 : Tangled at Tsangkou
  • FT165 : Shopino Struggle
  • FT167 : Wasp Sting (my fave from FTC6)
  • FT169 : Daring Parafroggers
  • FT173 : A Misstep in Lorraine
  • FT188 : NKVD Nut
  • KGS4 : From Matilda with Love
  • StN4 : Get the Lights!
Bonne liste, merci. :)

I have played many of these. Time to have a closer look at the others.

Interesting headlight SSR in FT154.

I am sure that if and when Xavier puts out V3 of this Rat Chart it will be improved on , as I was given a copy fo V1 and the changes in that to what the public got was vastly different.
I missed out on the charts. Is there word a new version is in the works? I would def buy. I love LFT stuff. Very well done IMHO. Thanks for info.

Hi all;

plenty of cool stuff in development, but no SASL project in the near future.
There is still a small SASL CG, but right now we have had no time to give it a try. We just need some time :)

Is there word a new version is in the works?
We are working on an improved / FLAK free version; if you have any comments or would like to see any improvements, just send us your ideas and we will see if and how we will incorporate them in the new Rat charts. Thanks for your kind words by the way :)

I am offended by your use of Rat! It has long been a Ray Tapio nickname!

+1

Played this one with Darrell Wright many months ago. He had the Brits. IIRC, his wasps were a total PITA until he got a little too bold and stumbled into the path of my hip gun.

Played it at Heroes this year against Mummy Bear (Martin Mayers) this thread got me to finally add the AAR to my blog

I thought I read a while back about reprinting of some older LFT mag/mag scenarios. I have a keen interest in the Spanish Civil War and would love to see that magazine (LFT6) translated to English and its scenarios refreshed. Any update on that or am I misremembering?

Craig, PM when you get a chance. I can fix you up with the translated scenarios anyway for the SCW part of this. Oh, BTW, LFT is working on a France 40 HASL? Any word on the topic?

Since I am suffering from difficult comms here, I will do my best to reply during the week ends to all the questions that might arise.

Have already written donw the Stuart question, the other about our next release and such.

I will try to post something this Sunday.

All the best,
