I think you have said before, but I don't recall, how did you pick "Mantis".

When my wife and I first got internet (text based waaaay back on a 286), we had to share an account, and we tried to pick a username that was unisex, as both of us would have to 'live' under it. I chose Mantis (from an alien critter in a hard SF novel I was reading). Well, she never did any posting, just surfed, while I was getting emails, posting, etc. Not too much later, I was told that Mantis wasn't working for her, as it wasn't 'us', it was 'me'.

:laugh: Stuck with it ever since. (14, 15 years now?)

Which either means there are no 'old timers' reading this thread, or that none of them can remember jack either.......:clown:
