That was absolutely brilliant. Funny and sad as this is, the review is 120% accurate and correctly points out just how low George Lucas has fallen. I have reluctantly come to the conclusion that space orks ate George Lucas and replaced him with a bargain model replicant with no creative skills whatsoever.

BTW: Here's a review of Ep 2 from a different guy, but still spot on and funny. His comments echo Orson Scott Card's critique of the films (i.e., the Jedi are the cause of all the galaxy's problems).

You know, I think movie critics, by law, should be required to be theologians or philosophers. I posted some excellent movie reviews from Father Barron in other threads, and now I discover that "Confused Matthew" (from the Eps II-III reviews above) is an individual formerly educated in philosophy. This doesn't surprise me as one of the reasons why I liked his SW reviews is that he was one of the few people to point out how morally compromised all the "Jedi heroes" were in those films (I would love to get his take on Bloom's character in Kingdom of Heaven! ).

Anyway, Confused Matthew has a good, philosophically-oriented review of the Matrix sequels here. Definitely worth checking out.
