The renowned Blitz Wargame club (http://www.theblitz.org) which has a strong community and one of the longest running wargame Websites on the Internet now has a facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/TheBlitz.org). The Blitz is the place to be if your looking for PBEM games for many well known wargames. They have a fair number of leagues all run in a relaxed and friendly manner. Many Vets are willing to teach newbies.

How many turns they'll reply? 2... 3?

I still prefer quality to quantity...

Not sure I understand what you are asking, there are many opponents who play at varying speeds and turn rates and they play all versions. I am currently playing TOAW 1 but most play TOAW 3
