Here comes the AAR
On July 27, 2024, the third ASL competition was held in Wuhan, with 10 participants participating in the Swiss round of 4 rounds in 2 days. The player id is Wenbin, and Siyuan, Tianbo, Xavier Zhang, Joe Lee, Tianyu, Chenxi, GT, Zhen, Yanyang.

Trophy and prizes
Round one was about the Eastern Front. Players were fighting in the Soviet-German war on the Eastern Front, the options were J63 and BFP-95. Tianyu in J63 with the German overcomed the Soviet defense of Wenbin. Chenxi in BFP-95 with four consecutive snake eyes in TH or IFT swept Siyuan's Red army out. GT in the BFP-95 with the Soviet army's early stubborn defense and left flank opponent's loopholes to defeat the German attack of Tianbo. In another BFP-95 game, Zhen's Soviet army defeated Xavier Zhang's German. Joe Lee and Yanyang two had a tough battle in J63. When the time of the first round was over, Joe Lee's Red army situation was dominant. He won the game.
In the second round players came to the Mediterranean battlefield to fight, the scenarios is AP163 and J167. All five matches were J167. the German army in Tunisia to defend against the British infantry + American tank troops attack. Chenxi defeated the Joe Lee, while the GT took advantage of a mistake in the German defense by shifting the main tank to defeat the Tianyu. Zhen was defeated by superior Allied tank forces in a pitched battle with Wenbin. Yanyang'sGerman all-out defense repelled Siyuan Allied attack. Xavier Zhang's Allies defeated Tianbo.
The scenarioes of round 3 were SP147 and DB116. GT successfully defeated the American advance steps of Chenxi in SP147 by relying on defense; Tianbo defeated Siyuan's American at the Ardennes in the bitter winter. Zhen's army penatrated Joe Lee's aggressive high-positiondefense. The US attack of SP147 Tianyu and Yanyang played SP147 as well. Tianyu's American won. In DB116, Xavier Zhang used his Panzerfaust to deal Wenbin's attack the last blow.
The last round was PTO (FT138 and FrF72). FT138 took place in 1938 Madang Fortress, which happens to be part of the Wuhan Campaign in the War of Resistance against Japan. GT's British Army and Zhen's Japanese army staged FrF72 in the focus of Table 1 to the final round, Zhen lose the game at the final CC; Xavier Zhang's British army also defeated Tianyu in the same scenario; Chenxi's Japanese army defeated the opponent in FT138's mountain climbing competition. Siyuan's the Japanese were not so lucky and finally lost to Joe Lee; Tianbo and Yanyang finished in a draw.
Finally, after two days of four rounds of competition, the third "Dare Death" ASL tournament came to an end. French player GT won the title with 4-0, followed by Xavier Zhang(3-1) and Chenxi(3-1). Zhen won the fourth place. The fifth was Tianyu(2-2) and he also won the best rookie award.
