Terrain under the cursor

In the TacOps map editor there is an option to display the terrain type and location info as the cursor scrolls around the map. This is a useful tool, but I don't see any option for this in the regular game. Have I missed it, or is this not currently an option?

The F9 key turns on/off the continuous display in the info line of the UTM coordinates and the terrain type at the current cursor location. Do not press any mouse button, just move the mouse.

Mentioned somewhat cryptically in "Appendix X - Shortcuts - Windows".

There is a lot of frosting like this in TacOps - mostly due to ten years of servicing the constant flow of nags and tweak suggestions from the users.
