TCS - do you get it?

I bought Leros during last year's Black Friday sale and am just now getting it to the table. However, my father and I are having a hell of time trying to figure out these rules. Is it just me or are there a lot of disconnects and things that just don't make sense? Not many examples in the rules, no index. It's tough to navigate. Granted, the ASL rules didn't make much sense when I first started teaching myself that system, which I love. But ASL rules seem so smooth now, and the index is invaluable. Am I not giving TCS a chance, or do others find the rules confusing?

Make sure you are using the latest series rules. They are available on the Gamer's Archive site. The 4.0 rules clear up a lot of problems. The best way to learn the game is from someone who has played it, but that isn't always possible. The ConSim Folder about TCS has some great helpful stuff too.
