Above is the situation, Russians moving.

The PZIVJ turns its TCA two clicks to the right as Defensive First Fire and fires its coaxial at 4+6 (3 for two click turn, doubled in woods, +1 for hedge, -1 for non-assault moving).

In Defensive Final Fire, the PZIVJ fires it MA to hit the T34/85.

I think the To Hit is +10 (6 for turn in woods, +1 BU, +1 hedge, +2 Moving).

My opponent thinks that the To Hit is +4 as he need not pay the TCA turn in Defensive Final Fire as it is a different Phase that Defensive First Fire.

What do you think?

Thanks,

Rich

So far as I can tell, you are correct, Rich!

Each weapon essentially remembers its CA change until it fires. Had the Panzer's MA fired during the MPh (maintaining ROF), then the TCA change would now be reset to null. MPh and DFPh are one phase as you say.

Show him A.15 - particularly the example. ?
